Museet ska visa skräckromantiska målningar från och med den 7 februari. Skräckromantiska!!!!!! Visste inte ens att sånt finns, men ja…varför inte. Allas smak ska ju komma till tal.
Och egentligen är ju självklart. Folk har ju alltid varit fascinerade av det mörka och skrämmande. Så måste det även synas på målardukarna också. Den håller öppet fram till april.
I see now; simply a genre in which horror and romance are dominant features in story telling. Vampire stories seem to lead here. Movies like the ”Twilight” series.
I like romance but not like horror .. I check never horror movies. I want to be able to sleep at night and it becomes difficult with a vivid imagination and creaking floors.
I love speculative fiction; always have, especially sci-fi. Some fantasy epics. I can take some horror but not much, and very few vampire stories, written or dramatized, impress me. I think the whole vampire sub-genre is grossly overrated. I think zombies are much more fun, and even they are on the verge of being overdone now.
The concept of vampires and humans being in love has always been an irritation for me. I real world considerations, its the same thing as health people falling in love with extreme sociopaths (serial killers). Sick, twisted and leaving me no room for identifying with either a hero or my personal favourite, the anti-hero. The vampire love thing is all warped and villainous to me.
